Homemade Mooncakes by US

Once again, Mooncake's Festival is around the corner

I believe most of us will buy ourself a box of mooncake at least =)

I wanna something special for this year

Xiong, Sisi and I decided to make ourself few mooncakes instead XD

The day began with a yellowish SKY (because we start make it around evening =.=)

Pick Up our little brother (SISI) from Bm lee tuition centre

Have a nice chat with Bm lee - a marvellous tuition teacher =)

Headed to the bakery shop for our Ingredients 

We followed a recipe from the internet and WE FAILED

Never give up

So, we tried it again on the next day =)

This time we followed the RECIPE from the bakery's shop

AND WE SUCCESS!!

NOT THAT AMAZE

but still tasty for me at least!!!

Xiong put most effort in there!!!

Here is the recipe I wanna share with u guys =)

Snowy Mooncakes

(Around 7 pieces)

Skin

Ingredient A

• 180g cooked glutinous rice flour (ko fun)
• 300g Icing sugar (Through sieve)

Ingredient B

• 240ml cold water
• few drops of green colouring
• a little bit of pandan juice
• few drops of banana essences

Ingredient C

• Shortening 25g

Fillings

• 1kg Lotus paste
• 100g roasted seeds

Procedures

1. Mix ingredient A nicely and slowly added ingredient B
2. Then, Mix Shortening into the dough until smoothly (keep it there for 15minutes)
3. Divide dough into small portions according to the size of your mould ( 60g ) and then wrap up the lotus paste(100gm) mixture. For lotus paste mixture, mix all together until evenly mixed.
4. Press into a mooncake mould and then knock it out.
5. Serve chilled.

He brought me to this stall few yrs back

I fall in love with the Ice Kacang!!!

I was sick on that day

but I can't endure the temptation

My sickness got even worse after all

Luckily the liang teh save my voice

A lesson I learned

Took 3-4hrs to complete it!!!!!!!!

Pity Teng and Boon How accompanied me for this pathetic process!!!

Their pizza taste HEAVENLY!!!!!!

Boon How told us that Katy Perry went their once!! XD

Finally, I changed my skin care products

Always a fan of kose

However, recently wanna go for some natural products

DECIDED to try out _ORIGINS_

Quite mild and comfortable for my skin

Teng, zi hui and I bought like few bags of their products

Thank to his ISETAN card, we got rebate of RM10 for every RM100 purchased =)

The next day, Teng and I went back to Help University (my previous UNI) 

to get my meaningless piece of result

Unfortunately, we can’t get it until FRI

AND I REALISED, I don’t even MISS THAT PLACE

Glad that I don’t need to stay there!!!

We basically spend all of our money!!!

We leave nothing on us!!!

I love shopping with AH TENG (gonna miss u in the coming 2weeks!!!)

Have so much fun with her!!!

I miss wen hao and zi hui when we are shopping!!

WITHOUT them, we have to take all those things ourself!!!!

I been exploring JB with my darling besties recently

Wanna leave all the best memories before I leave

Enjoy so much with them

Last week, we went to KULAI to this lovely coffee shop ( a decade or more in business )

It is not perfectly renovated like those cafe

well the foods are delicious

and the ICE KACANG is heavenly!!!

I doubt a lot of Kulai-ian know this place - Happy land (欢乐园）

They are famous in their Ice Kacang and Mango Pudding

The place is kinda unique and old style coffee shop

Everyday is fulled of PEOPLE

definitely a 4.5/5 for this place!!!

This week, we began our journey from Mount Austin to Pelangi

We found a cafe from facebook 

-CARAMEL-

Just open recently and the cake attract us so much

Hence, we decided to go this place 

It is a pinky cafe and owned a quite comfortable environment

Well, for me 

the food and beverage might just be a rate of 2.5/5 

OH YEA

I met Yinghui at this cafe

Such a pleasant surprise to see her over there =)

After that, Minyie and I went to a cafe at Pelangi 

*CHEELICIOUS*

I love the environment and cakes

(We were too full at that moment, not able to try the food over there, will visit the cafe in the future)

A rate of 4/5 for them

Just right behind Plaza Pelangi

Nice catch up place with ur darling friendsssss

WE will continue our journey future
